📣 Hello members of the African Diaspora. Today July 4th, if you're around Metro Detroit, don't miss the 21st All African Unity Picnic hosted by the United African Community Organization (UACO). This free event is a hidden gem, known for its welcoming atmosphere and vibrant celebration of African culture.

The picnic brings together over 15 different African countries, creating a melting pot of traditions, music, and camaraderie. Local artists will perform, adding a melodic backdrop to the festivities. The youth dance competition is a highlight, showcasing the talents and creativity of young performers.

Sports enthusiasts can enjoy the spirited soccer tournament, while families and friends relax and connect over delicious food and engaging activities. The picnic is designed to foster unity and celebrate the rich diversity of the African community in Michigan.
